SlickyNotes Rolls Out on Indiegogo To Change The Way We Post Notes

March 24, 2015— Sticky notes have always been a staple in the office but father and entrepreneurship advocate Nelson Pizarro is bringing something new to the table: SlickyNotes.

SlickyNotes are, according to Pizarro, like sticky notes, but only better. They are double-sided, repositionable, reusable, and static-charged note pads that does not need any adhesives. It is a revolutionary product because it uses static electricity to stick the note pads to any surface.

Pizarro has launched an Indiegogo campaign to raise $10,000 from March 9 to April 8, in order to purchase a new machine, a printer, which will allow them to put color to the product in-house. This, according to Pizarro, will significantly produce their production cost by 40%, making SlickyNotes so much more affordable for everyone.
“We want everyone in the world to upgrade their old sticky notes to a product that is environmentally friendly, innovative, and reusable,” says Pizarro.

Pizarro, Founder and CEO of his family-run business EcoStatic, Inc., shares, “Slickynotes are double sided, reusable on one side and come in all shapes and sizes. Slickynotes can be used with any writing implement and will stick to any smooth, dry surface.” Its stable electrostatic charge can last for days, allowing users to easily reuse, re-stick, and slide SlickyNotes around for any activity such as brainstorming sessions and reminders. Pizarro says that the electrostatic charge can also hold for up to 4 to 6 months, depending on the surface on which the SlickyNotes are posted on.

SlickyNotes are made of a smooth material similar to a dry erase board, allowing users to write and rewrite anything, making it more environmentally friendly and sustainable. SlickyNotes have two sides: one side is colored and can be written on with a pen for a permanent note and the other is a white, dry-erase material that can be written on with a dry erase marker. Both sides electrostatically charged and can stick just the same and they easily slide around a white board or other surface, making it more fun and convenient to use for presentations or meetings.

SlickyNotes come in orange, purple, green and yellow on their permanent side and the dry erase side is white. They all come in various sizes: 1.97 x 1.46 inches (small), 3.94 x 2.91 inches (regular), and 7.87 x 3.94 inches (large). Every SlickyNotes pad has 95 sheets.

Aside from SlickyNotes, EcoStatic also rolls out SlickyBoard, which is used for whiteboarding and as a flipchart or bulletin board, or on metal surfaces as a magnetic whiteboard. Slickyboard adheres to any smooth surface using a stable electrostatic charge and can be used with SlickyNotes. This comes in 30 x 25 inches rolls of 10 and 25 for white and rolls of 10 for clear sheets.
